In this week’s episode, we amplify the voice of Karen Brown. Karen is the Owner/Baker of LOL Labor of Love Bakery.  A home based bakery that provides Custom-designed cakes, cupcakes, and other sweet treats for all occasions. Whether it’s a layered or tiered cake, Bundt or sheet cake, and if you want to add cake balls or pops, chocolate covered strawberries or decorated cookies, we strive to be the Bakery of choice for the DFW area.

LOL Labor of Love Bakery was born on December 16, 2015 but Karen's passion for baking which stemmed all the way back to her childhood had been alive much longer. "Who would have thought that very passion would be turned into a Business? God did, it was His plan all along and His timing could not have been any less perfect!"

Starting with one signature cake, the Red Velvet Cheesecake, word of mouth, and a viral pic on Facebook, LOL Bakery was conceived. Now 5 yrs running and year #4 the start of full time entrepreneurship, Karen is excited where God will take her business and how it’ll grow to be of service to those who “love cake”. “Love Cake, Don’t Bake...Leave the Baking to Me!”

Listen in as we chat with Karen as she shares how God's timing, her faith and a little help from a social media post turned into a full fledged business.
