Good episode? Give it some love!
“Anytime you get a rejection or a setback, it’s important to get still and listen to your gut.” Listen as Cayla and her guest Jamie Kern Lima discuss her background, what it took for her to become a billion-dollar brand, her book, plus much more on this episode of the https://www.mommymillionaire.co/podcasts (Mommy Millionaire Podcast).
Jamie’s dream was to become a news anchor, but when her rosacea got out of control, and nothing on the market could withstand the hot lights on set, she created her own makeup brand. Even though she had no experience in makeup and knew nothing about it, her gut kept telling her to quit her job and start her own business.
On her honeymoon, she and her new husband wrote the IT Cosmetics business plan and set out to launch it when they got home. It wasn’t easy, but she would not give up, and after three years of setbacks and being told no, the company took off. Jamie believes that self-doubt kills more dreams than anything.
Jamie talks about her book https://www.believeit.com/ (Believeit) and why she is donating all the proceeds to https://togetherrising.org/give/ (Together Rising), she is also giving away free gifts to anyone who purchases her book, which you will find on her website: http://www.believeit.com (www.believeit.com). Jamie shares it is a miracle that she went from being a Denny’s waitress to selling her company for over a billion dollars cash. Jamie believes miracles are everywhere around us. When we look for miracles is when we see them.
