How to Launch New Builders in Your Network Marketing Business
Helping new distributors get started right could be one of the most important skills for you to master and duplicate down into your team. A huge percentage of your teams energy and sales volume is going to come from the people that are just starting in their businesses. If you ever feel your team starting to stagnate, just go sign up and launch 5 new people and see what that does for your team. You’ll be AMAZED! =)
How do you get a new distributor started right?
The key is to focus on your companies launch system. At some point I do think distributors can get huge value from learning how to innovate by starting a personal brand, building online etc… But in the beginning it’s SUPER important to master the basics and follow your companies system for duplication and getting started right. A good system will include these activities as the primary activities. I like the acronym P.I.P.E.S.
Prepare – This is going to include making a list of people to share your products or opportunity with, doing some kind of personal development each day, and setting goals. These actions are all “passive action” meaning they are not directly going to build your business. So definitely do these things, but don’t focus too much of your energy here.
Invite – This is one of the most important activities. If you are not inviting people to take a look at what you’re offering, no one will take a look… And obviously your business own’t grow if you’re not presenting to and enrolling new customers and builders. Present – I’ll definitely be doing more training on presenting, body language etc… But the key really is to use a third party tool (check out this episode/post about third party tool…
), keep it simple and of course be genuine and authentic. You’ll hopefully learn really quickly that the more people you present to, the more people will join your business. =) Track your numbers and present, present, present.
Enroll – This obviously means to sign people up into your business. Again, a lot of people complicate this and get scared about it. I recommend you just use this Super Simple and Super Effective Network Marketing…
Support – This includes following up with your customers to educate them further on your products. It also would include doing team calls or individual mentoring sessions with your leaders to support them and keep them accountable to their goals.
The three most important of these PIPES activities are I, P and E. If you are always inviting, presenting and enrolling and duplicating those actions down into your team, you’ll see beautiful momentum in your business.
