It seems bread is truly a timeless food. It all began with early humans eating something more akin to flat-grain-paste, to now being made for people all over the world!
Even domestic bread making is regaining popularity, and I must admit I have tried my hand at it. It’s deceptively difficult. If you follow the recipe, then you will be just fine! But if you don’t pay attention, things could go horribly wrong. At home, it may just be flat and uneven. But for Salem, Massachusetts, it could be the cause hysteria and a year of fear.
