On Saturday, Australian fashion industry icon Carla Zampatti died after suffering a serious fall on March 26.

Leaders of fashion, politics and the media have paid tribute to the trailblazing pioneer of Australian fashion who’s career spanned more than five decades. Her designs have been worn by the likes of Nicole Kidman and Cate Blanchett, former prime minister Julia Gillard and celebrated chef Nigella Lawson is a fan.
