Jesus said that the greatest commandment was that we love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind. While this famous pronouncement is well known to all Christians… what it means is often misunderstood. Many could take this to mean that if I have warm feelings for God, or if, in my own way, I am doing what can to show love to God then I am obeying the greatest commandment. However, by looking at the first table of the Ten Commandments we discover what God has in mind when He calls us to love Him fully.
