I found the rarest of species in the middle of the jungle this week, THE WLDLFE, the Indianapolis powerhouse pop group, or is it indie? Alternative? Who cares, they sound GOOD. You can't go wrong with brother singers either and Jansen and Carson bring the melody. Hear how it all started with my interview with Jansen, if they have any weird band rituals of any kind, and why it's taken so long for them to go on tour, only in episode 10 of Song Reach. Welcome to another bonus episode of Song Reach. I sit down with bio brother, Jordan Fite, and talk about new and old music you need to make yourself acquainted with. We express the importance of travel to spark creative juices and end with another shotgun question showdown to the death, mic death!Click here to give the show a hugSound effects are royalty free or licensed through Zapsplat.Songs featured in this episode besides theme music belong to respected copyright holders/independent artist who have given written permission to be played on the show for review and promotion.
Let your senses go and have your dream scape infiltrated by music that'll leave you pleasurably buzzed. Max and Benji comprise the effortlessly sound-sculpting, Slenderbodies, a low key / R&B tinged pop duo out of Los Angeles, California. They have a uniqueness like no other, with falsetto straight from angel lips, what seems like a-million-layer guitar ensemble, and vibrational influence that will make you want to take a walk through the forest picking mushrooms. Hear how Max (singer/guitar) explains how they managed to complete their breakthrough EP "Sotto Voce" while Benji lived 300 miles away, who is this mystical mountain wizard he speaks of, and does Avatar The Last Airbender really add a lot of contrast to their sound? How do they get so dang slender!?Click here to give the show a hugSound effects are royalty free or licensed through Zapsplat.Songs featured in this episode besides theme music belong to respected copyright holders/independent artist who have given written permission to be played on the show for review and promotion.Find more information about the artist below :slenderbodi.esInstagram : @slenderbodiesBuy :"blood to gold" here"pink hue" here"gray" here
Our first international act on the show - Canada's own, Group Project. Jacob, Jeremy and Alex make up the student body of this weekend anthem trio, as you'll hear, It's hard for them to choose between writing songs about a hard night partying or picking up chicks at the wee ours of the morning. Three tracks that encompass their coming-of-age sound pretty well are "M.C.K." then followed by one of their newest singles, "Cold." The episode wraps up with their multi-million streamed hit, "Priest." In the interview : Why is Montreal better then Toronto? How cold DOES it really get there? Where'd the logo come from? What were the guys favorite cartoons growing up and find out what two gigs blew their expectations wayyy out of the classroom.Click here to show some loveSound effects are royalty free or licensed through Zapsplat.Songs featured in this episode besides theme music belong to respected copyright holders/independent artist who have given written permission to be played on the show for review and promotion.Find more information about the artist below :www.groupprojectmusic.comInstagram : @groupprojectmusicBuy : "Priest" here"Cold" here"M.C.K." here
BONUS EPISODE - Today I'm introducing my very good friend, Byron Yeager. He came to visit not too long ago so we decided to set up a few microphones and talk story. Alongside us as well is my partner in creative crime and bio brother, Jordan Fite. We've all been jamming together in-and-out of the last 16 years and have some interesting things to share. We reminisce about the good old days playing a weekly Saturday night house party overlooking million dollar ocean views, while also indulging in other significant moments of our friendship. Listen and find out what "Beej" has been up too recently, his music playlist, his legendary tree climbing and just plain what makes this guy so frikin' smooth! You'll get goosebumps just listening to him speak.Click here to leave a review and enter the raffle! Don't get mad! I've come to realize that having three artists per week is unsustainable for now. The members of todays show aren't necessarily new to the scene, but their formation is. Floracene is the byproduct of two previous bands residing in Stratford, New Jersey. I sit down with lead singer and song writer, Pat Johnson who shares two currently released songs with me on Song Reach, "Rollercoaster" and "Bruises", both of which have interesting backgrounds we can all relate too.Click here to leave a review and enter the raffle! Up and coming DOUBLECAMP premieres on Song Reach this week with a track that's still currently stuck in my head, "Happier" featuring D.
