Mike Weaver, former NHL hockey player shares with us his approach to facing life's challenges, his mindset as an athlete and working his way into, and staying in, the NHL. 

Mike has an amazing mindset that helped him continue to work on his game, focus on what he can control, and to honour and value his unique skillset that paved the way to his 10+ year career in the NHL. 

He discusses the challenge of transitioning out of professional sports and finding a life that brings him meaning, purpose, and allows him to do work he loves to do. He launched a coaching platform called Coach Them and he has a successful hockey school called Defence First.
