Aishwarya talks to Sidharth Jain (Founder of The Story Ink) about how book-to-screen is the biggest content opportunity of the decade and which stories work best for the screen.

Sidharth’s work is all about matching the right story to the right producer, director and screenwriter. He just signed a deal for Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni’s ‘The Last Queen’! He talks about why he likes to work with authors directly. He receives 40-50 submissions per month. Aishwarya loves how he gets to read and binge-watch as a part of his job! What does he look for in a pitch? How can authors become screenwriters? And where will publishing and book-to-screen be by 2030? Tune in to find out!

Book Mentions:

  • I’m Thinking of Ending Things by Iain Reid
