Continuing our new series on recommendations we received directly at this year's FoGgoween -- #foggoweeners -- we're going back to the 1980s and the cast of Universal's classic monsters for Fred Dekker's THE MONSTER SQUAD. Grab your backpack and pedal those bicycles for a fun, wonderfully visualized send up of all your favorite monsters. While the film does have some dated, problematic elements that shouldn't be ignored, the overwhelming sensibility is of joy and gleeful monster mayhem, not to mention a somewhat disarming truth about how to recognize and dispel the monsters around us.
