Today we are talking about why you shouldn't let previous bad holiday experiences ruin the ones we have coming up this month.

When we cultivate a growth mindset, it means acknowledging past experiences, learning from them, and moving forward with no expectation that they will repeat themselves.

The holidays are a difficult time of year for many people, due in part to the emotions that are brought up this time of year; however if we can go into the new holiday season with the expectation that we will have a wonderful time, it turns out that we just may have it!

As Laura mentions in this episode, many of us go into the holiday suspicious that someone is judging us, or doesn't like us, or is disappointed in us, and it sets us up to expect conflict....when we simply don't need to. 

Let's make the 2020 holiday season the one where we go into it with no baggage, no suspicions, and no storytelling!
