Chapter Nineteen: "Often, the problems in relationships are systemic, they fester and spread, infecting all decisions and forged memories. One wants children, while the other runs from the conversation. One wants to discover life living in the country, while the other can’t loosen their grip on city life. What about religion, politics? What happens when one partner has faith and the other simply can’t believe? What happens when one partner’s candidate wins the bid, while the other must concede?

Resentments build. Hurt feelings abound. Fissures become cracks. Cracks become caverns. When the schism grows wide enough, do you give up, throw in the towel, and bid some you once loved adieu? Do you say goodbye?
