Today on The Kondrat Podcast, I sat down with Emile Gabriel -  a 2021 Calgary Mayoral Candidate.  “My philosophy is simple - there is a time to receive and a time to give” - and as a mayoral candidate, he’s hopeful that his time to give is coming soon.

Emile was born in Giza, Egypt - the city of the Great Pyramids.  He has travelled the world, visiting and working in over 20 different countries before coming to Canada.  Emile feels that being from a multiracial family is a huge asset - “it makes me able to understand and relate to people from different backgrounds”.

As mayor, Emile’s first major goal is to establish a two-term limit for the mayor and all council members.  In his opinion, his greatest skill is an ability to identify the root cause of a problem and provide an effective solution.  He believes the root of many of Calgay’s problems lie in what he calls “The 15+ Group” - which we discuss on the podcast.
