Today on The Kondrat Podcast, I sat down with my friend Avnish Mehta, Founder of Stand and Command, Beer Baron at Village Brewery, Chief Strategy Officer at FARE, and Board Chair of The Calgary Public Library.  As you can see, Avnish is a huge force in the community so it was great to discuss where he gets his passion and motivation. We also talk about his journey to becoming a successful business owner and why he’s optimistic for the future.

For personal reasons (I’m terrible at public speaking), I was interested to learn more about Stand and Command, a company that Avnish founded to help individuals, Corporations, and Non-Profit Organizations master Presentations and Public Speaking.  He’s passionate about “getting the best thinking out of others” and loves the diversity of work and people he connects with daily.  We also discuss his mentors - and he’s got a lot!  Avnish is grateful for all of these people who have helped him succeed, and he’s mindful to help others whenever possible to find their success.

Avnish is proud to be considered a friend, community contributor, entrepreneur, volunteer, folkfest sponsor, problem solver, and dreamer.  Oh - and when he’s not busy with all of these insane roles, Avnish also considers himself  “a pretty good dad and husband” too!
