Sometimes people don't make sense.

They can commit to something and then not follow through.

They can say they want one thing and then do something completely opposite.

I think we're all guilty of this at times.

It's about our human brain and the reality of what happens if it goes unmanaged.

Sometimes we'll do things that don't make sense.

Which means the other people in that scenario are left trying to figure it out.

And it can be confounding.

This is something that can happen in any part of our life.

In the business we run.

In our corporate life.

Or in our relationships.

So on today's episode, we're talking about what to do if you find yourself in a place where other people aren't following through in some way with something you agreed to do.

And how to avoid getting stuck in an unhelpful dynamic where you're trying to control or negotiate or influence the other person into "seeing the light" or changing their behavior.

Because that never works.

We all know this intellectually, but I know from very painful, personal experience that it's very easy to forget.
