Have you ever been in an abusive or co-dependent relationship before? I have many times and looking back I now see the patterns that kept me in those relationships for so long. This episode was not an easy one to talk about but since I've written my book, "Hope Elevated" and relived the experience before recording this episode I found it took a lot of the power out of my emotional experience. It's important to share our experiences and be vulnerable because it allows for the healing to start! I no longer hold the resentments I used too and have since forgiven others as well as forgiven myself.
