In 1846, a London clerk named Nathanial Bryceson got a glimpse of the hairs on his lover’s vulva and wrote about it in his diary. One year of that diary has survived, offering us an intimate and uncensored look at one Victorian’s private musings about his muse’s privates. In this bonus episode, Nathanial’s 3x great-grandson, history researcher Steven Saxby joins us to share some relevant entries from the diary. Steven blogs about the diary at nathanielbryceson.wordpress.com and on Twitter @BrycesonNat. Transcript: tinyurl.com/vm-annfox
