Hey Mom Friends! With much growth, therapy, time, and grace, I've learned the power of taking off my cape. I realized that to flow in and out of seasons while getting the restoration and ease that I need, I can't wear my cape all the time. As women, we most often times feel a sense of overwhelm, as if we're drowning, constantly reaching out to some type of life raft to save us. Not realizing that one of the main factors of why we're drowning is ourselves. We are reluctant to take off our cape to avoid appearing weak, incompetent, not put together, and everything else in between. Have you considered that maybe you were never meant to do all of the things constantly weighed down by the heaviness of the many capes you wear? Join the chat to find out.
In this episode, I'm talking all about...
+ What taking your cape off means
+ The idea of releasing control and getting into a surrendering posture
+ Dismantling the lies that hinder us from entering into the place of rest and ease
+ Realizing that we're not meant to do (anything) alone
...and more
