Adding your Twitter Handle to Podchaser to Boost Discovery

With Podchaser’s new Follow with Twitter feature, users can quickly find podcasts and people on Podchaser based on who they already follow on Twitter. You’ll want to take advantage of this feature and make sure you and your podcast (if ya got one) and profiles are discoverable, by making sure you’ve added your Twitter handles to your pages.

How to Add your Twitter Handle to Podchaser

Podcast Page

Every podcast has a page on Podchaser that tracks their episodes, reviews, creators, guests, and more. Users can follow a podcast to receive updates of new episodes and activity on the page. 

If you’ve already claimed your podcast on Podchaser, you can quickly add social links by visiting your “My Podcasts” page and hitting “Manage”. This will take you to your podcast settings where you can add in the social links (and a bunch of other cool stuff too by the way 😉).

If you have not claimed your podcast on Podchaser yet, you can do so by finding your podcast page on Podchaser and clicking the “Claim This Podcast” button. It’s in the right-hand sidebar on desktop or at the bottom on mobile. Then follow the instructions above for adding your social links.

While we have almost every podcast in our database, sometimes a podcast will fall through the cracks. You can add any podcast to Podchaser by clicking the “add a podcast” button. It’s located in the footer of our browse podcasts page.

Creator Profile

Podchaser creator profiles are pages that track podcast appearances. Creator profiles can be for hosts, guests, producers, composers, writers, and anyone else involved in the making of a podcast. Users can follow creator pages to receive updates of new appearances. 

If you’ve already claimed your creator profile on Podchaser, you can quickly add social links by visiting your “My Creators” page and editing your profile there. You’ll also be able to update your photo, bio, birthday, and more.

If you have not claimed your podcast on Podchaser yet, first see if there is already a creator profile for you on Podchaser by searching for your name on our podcast creators page. If you show up, click through to your page and then scroll down to the “is this you” button. That will take you through the claiming process.

If there isn’t a creator profile for you yet, you can create one by clicking “add a creator” on our podcast creators page. 

User Profile

Podchaser user profiles show your activity on Podchaser as a listener and contributor, including reviews you’ve left, lists you’ve made, and podcasts and people you’ve followed. Everyone who signs up for Podchaser automatically gets a user profile. Other users can follow your user profile to get updates on your activity on the site.

To add a Twitter handle to your page, click your profile picture in the navigation bar as select “my profile.” Then click edit profile and you’ll be able to add social media links to your profile.
