Adam James Jones as Barney Tromp, 32 years of age, an over the hill Prom King, Barney has leveraged his high school popularity into a position on the city council. Yet that popularity may have run its course as recent events challenge his ability to serve. Born in Denver and raised in South Park Colorado, Adam received a BA from the University of Northern Colorado and an MA from Western New Mexico University. He is the author of the novels The Vendetta of Felipe Espinosa (2014 Gale- Cengage) and Daughter of the Dark World (TBA). His short fiction and essays have appeared in numerous publications, among them Wild West, Wever, and Backpacker magazine (2019). Adam is also a filmmaker and in winter 2019 his film Hatchlings enters production in Durango, CO. Currently, he is at work on his third novel, the first in a planned fantasy series called Nursing Home of the Gods. Adam lives in New Mexico with his wife, actress, and director, Catherine E. Jones and their pug Tobey.
