Adam Winston, CPDT-KA, UW-AAB was born in Anchorage, Alaska. After finishing high school in Chesapeake, Virginia, he honorably served in the U.S. Air Force from 1997-2002. By age 30, Adam visited all 50 states, every Canadian province and over a dozen other countries. In 2015, while attaining a bachelor degree in business administration, Adam chose to follow his passion for helping dogs and their families. Soon after graduating from college in Philadelphia, he moved back to the Pacific Northwest and attained a professional certificate in Applied Animal Behavior from the University of Washington. Adam currently works as the district senior dog trainer for a large retailer. He also served as an animal care technician at a municipal shelter. The dog that first sparked Adam’s fascination was a young Chow Chow he adopted, while living on a state park in Utah.
