Adrianne Jeffries is an investigative reporter. Currently, she writes for The Markup and co-hosts the podcast Underunderstood. Jeffries was a founding editor at The Outline, where she edited the tech/science section. Before that, she was the managing editor for Motherboard, Vice's tech and science vertical. Prior to that, she was a tech reporter for The Verge and a reporter and editor at The New York Observer. She has written for The Virginian Pilot, The New York Times, and Businessweek.
