Dr. Allissa Richardson is a journalist and Assistant Professor of Journalism in the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. She is a proponent of mobile journalism and citizen journalism and has trained students to report news using their smartphones, tablets and MP3 players. Richardson received her B.Sc. in Biology from Xavier University, her M.Sc. in Journalism from Northwestern University, and her Ph.D in Journalism from the University of Maryland.
