Dr. Allyson Brooks is the Ginny Ueberroth Executive Medical Director Endowed Chair of Hoag Women’s Health Institute. In this role she has helped establish Hoag as a Becker’s Top 100 Hospital with Excellent Women’s Health programs, helped achieve the U.S. News & World Report ranking of #41 in Gynecology with a Center of Excellence in robotic surgery and, by means of the Institute structure, has developed comprehensive programs in maternal child health, minimally invasive gynecology, breast health, maternal mental health and integrated wellness. In addition to her leadership in women’s health, Dr. Brooks is the senior physician executive overseeing quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, accreditation, performance improvement, infection prevention and patient relations at Hoag.
