Amanda Allen is a lawyer who advocates for access to reproductive health services. Currently, she is a Senior Counsel and the Deputy Executive Director for Legal Programs at Lawyering Project, where she oversees the organization’s Access & Innovation Program, which focuses on expanding access to medication abortion through telehealth and other innovative technologies.
Before joining the Lawyering Project, Allen held several positions at the Center for Reproductive Rights, including overseeing the Center’s state and local policy and advocacy initiatives. She also held positions with the National Institute for Reproductive Health, the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum as a Georgetown Law & Public Policy Fellow, and If/When/How: Lawyering for Reproductive Justice.
Allen received her J.D. from CUNY School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Minnesota.
