Anders completed his PhD at the Wellcome Sanger Institute and the University of Cambridge, studying the genetic variation and history of human populations with a particular focus on Australia and New Guinea. As a postdoctoral fellow at the Crick, he is working on human evolutionary genomics using ancient and present-day DNA, as well as the genetic history of dogs and wolves.
