Professor Andrew Kulman is Chair of Graphic Art at Birmingham City University in the UK. He is an award-winning illustrator and holds a National Teaching Fellowship. He has taught in Higher Education since 1988, having graduated from the Royal College the previous year.
His clients have included, BBC, Vogue, Sunday Times, New Scientist and some commissions have led to a D&AD ( Silver) amongst other industry awards.
He is a passionate printmaker and exhibits his prints in National and International competitions, the most recent being the Royal Society of Painter Etchers show, ‘Relief’
He travels widely in particularly across the Far East visiting and working in Japan in 2019 and has held a position on the ELIA Representative Board.
