Anna Taborska is a filmmaker and author of horror fiction.
Taborska has directed two short films, two documentaries, and a television drama, "The Rain Has Stopped," which won two awards at the 2009 British Film Festival. She worked as a researcher and assistant producer on several BBC television programmes.
Taborska has written screenplays for "Chainsaw," "The Camp," "Pizzaman," and "The Bloody Tower." Her short screenplays for "Little Pig" was a finalist in the 2009 Shriekfest Film Festival Screenplay Competition.
Taborska's short stories and poetry have appeared in magazines and have been reprinted in Year's Best anthologies. Her first book, the short story collection "For Those Who Dream Monsters," was published in 2013, and received the Dracula Society's Children of the Night Award.
Before becoming an author and filmmaker, Taborska worked in public relations, journalism and advertising. She studied Experimental Psychology at Oxford University.
