Anthony Ryan is a fantasy fiction writer. He is best known for his "Vaelin Al Sorna" series, which started in 2013 with "Blood Song." Before becoming a full-time author, Ryan was a researcher in the British Civil Service. Ryan's work has appeared in Deep Magic and has been collected in anthologies. His first novel, "Slab City Blues," was published in 2011. He has published more than twenty novels and collections. He has a degree in Medieval History.
