Anu H. Bradford is an author, law professor, and expert in international trade law. She is known for having coined the term "the Brussels Effect" to describe the European Union’s outsize influence on global markets. Currently, she is Distinguished Professor of Law and International Organization at the Columbia Law School.Her first book, "The Brussels Effect: How the European Union Rules the World," was published in 2020. Her second book, "Digital Empires: The Global Battle to Regulate Technology," was published in 2023.
