Anup Malani is an economist and a law professor. Currently, he is a Professor at the University of Chicago Law School and a Professor at the Pritzker School of Medicine. He is also a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research in Boston.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Malani has been focused on tackling the disease in India.
