Ariel Sabar is an author and freelance journalist.
Sabar's work has appeared in The New York Times, The Atlantic Magazine, Harper's, Smithsonian Magazine, Washington Post, Boston Globe, Christian Science Monitor, Washingtonian, and This American Life. His first book, "My Father's Paradise: A Son's Search for his Jewish Past in Kurdish Iraq," was published in 2008. His second book, "Heart of the City: Nine Stories of Love and Serendipity on the Streets of New York," was published in 2012. His third book, "Veritas: A Harvard Professor, a Con Man and the Gospel of Jesus's Wife," was published in 2020.
