Dr. Assaf Bondy is an Israeli-born Labour Sociologist, who studies the political-economy of employment relations in advanced economies at the University of Bristol. Bondy’s work has been so far dedicated to the study of changing conditions for collective actions and its changing forms and effects – on workers’ rights, on inequality, on the structure of employment relations and on the political economy. Prior to joining Bristol Business School Bondy was the head of the employment relations research team at The Israeli Trade Union Research Institute, where he led numerous projects that focus on trade union learning and strategies as well as on the regulation of employment relations in the public and private sector.
