Atsushi Sakahara (阪原 淳, Sakahara Atsushi, born 27 August 1966 in Kyoto) is a writer, film director, producer, and entrepreneur. He is a survivor of the 1995 Sarin gas attack on the Tokyo subway. He produced a Palme d'Or winning short film, Bean Cake, 2001. He started shooting a documentary, The Cult Leader and Me, about Aum Shinrikyo. The film was invited to Hong Kong International Film Festival HAF WIP lab and won G2D Post production Award 2018.
