Brooke Jarvis is a freelance journalist. She is a contributing writer to The California Magazine.Jarvis has also taught feature writing at NYU’s American Journalism Online Master’s Program.Jarvis's work has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, Harper’s Magazine, Pacific Standard, Audubon, MATTER, and Seattle Met Magazine, and has been collected in anthologies.Jarvis studied literature at the University of Richmond.
