Dr. Carol Tilley is a librarian and a historian of comic books. Her work focuses on the intersection of young people, comics, and libraries, particularly in the United States during the mid-twentieth century. Currently, she is an Associate Professor Experience at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she teaches courses in comics’ reader’s advisory, media literacy, and youth services librarianship.
