Carolina A. Miranda is an arts journalist. Currently, she writes the "Culture: High and Low" blog for the Los Angeles Times.
Miranda's work on art, architecture, creativity, and travel has appeared in Time, ARTNews, ARCHITECT, Art in America, Budget Travel, Centurion, Lonely Planet and Fast Company.
Miranda began her career at New York Newsday. She then worked as a general assignment reporter for Time Magazine, and she was a regular contributor at New York Public Radio. She also published a personal arts and culture blog called C-Monster.
Miranda received her B.A. in Latin American Studies from Smith College, where she worked on the school newspaper and had an internship at the Massachusetts Hampshire Gazette.
