Casper Martinez is an established radio personality as well as an award winning Producer/Actor. Martinez began his over two decade’s long radio producer and voice-over talent career in 1996, as producer of El Gufeo con Moonshadow on New York City’s CALIENTE 105.9 FM. He then went on to serve as producer for the highly popular El Vacilon de la Manana with Luis Jimenez and Moonshadow. In 2002, Casper’s lifelong love of movies shone through when he produced and acted in the surprise Sundance hit, Manito. The independent film garnered the festival’s special jury prize for ‘Best Ensemble Cast’ in a Feature and went on to win awards at film festivals around the globe, including the Tribeca film festival “Best Emerging Filmmaker Award”.From 2000 to 2004, he served as segment producer and special correspondent on the award-winning national program Urban Latino TV (later retitled American Latino TV). In 2009, he won the Emmy for “short form” comedy writing on MEGA TV’s El Vacilon sketch comedy show where he also served as producer and actor.His voiceover talents have been featured in film, radio, television and video games, including John Singleton’s Illegal Tender, Rockstar games Grand theft Auto IV, ESPN Deportes’ Dominos Tournament, as well as on MEGA 97.9 FM & Amor 93.1 FM NYC. Casper’s film and tv acting credits include Law & Order:CI, 100 Centre Street, Piñero, Carlito's Way: Rise to Power and El Vacilon The Movie among others.
