Catherine Price is a science journalist, author, speaker, teacher, and consultant. She is the founder of ScreenLifeBalance.com, which offers online courses. Price's work has appeared in The New York Times, Popular Science, O, The Oprah Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Washington Post Magazine, The Best American Science Writing, and Outside. Her first book, "The Big Sur Bakery Cookbook," was published in 2009. She is best known for her second book, "101 Places Not to See Before You Die," which was published in 2010. She has published six nonfiction books. Price received her B.A. from Yale University and her M.A. in Journalism from the University of California Berkeley.
