Chica Barbosa is a director and producer. Her work explores narrative, hybrid and experimental forms of storytelling, with a focus on themes like feelings of displacement, the residuals of colonialism, the visible/invisible borders around us and female perspectives. Currently, she is Head of Production at Wolf at the Door Studios. Barbosa's work has appeared in film festivals such as IDFA, Frameline, Outfest, DOC NYC, LALIFF, Sheffield Doc Fest, Dok Leipzig, Guanajuato International Film Festival, Málaga Film Festival and Festival Internacional del Nuevo Cine-Latinoamericano de la Habana.
