Chris was born in Petoskey Michigan and was diagnosed with Bipolar 1, obsessive compulsive disorder and manic depression as a teenager. He has spent the better part of his life as a drummer for punk and alternative rock bands, Including THE BANANA CONVENTION from Saginaw MI and DECATUR in Denver Colorado. He started the Coffee Over Suicide podcast in the summer of 2018 as a way of trying to end the stigma of mental illness and suicidal ideation.
