The buyer's due diligence period, also known as the "inspection period", is an important part of the home buying process. The inspection period is usually the first 10 days after contract acceptance. This gives the buyer the chance to discover and review any material (or important) information the buyer deems that would change the buyer's decision to purchase the house. During this period there are several useful tools to help the buyer with this process. They are:The Buyer AdvisoryThe Seller's Property Disclosure StatementThe CLUE or Insurance Claims ReportThe Buyer's AgentIt's important to ask lots of questions during this 10 day period.
