Well, you’ve seen the pictures and videos of our ducklings, Hope and Dream, and many of you have probably searching “raising ducklings” ever since! Trust me, local friends are booking appointments to come over and hold them! Today, you’ll hear the story, as promised, about where their names came from! And….we get to come around the truth together that God’s faithfulness endures to all generations (Psalm 119:90) and sometimes His faithfulness to us is EACH OTHER! I’m so happy to get to host @lisabevere as my special guest today! Join us as we talk about her most personal and powerful book yet! Godmothers: Why You Need One. How to Be One. It was wonderful to get to sit with Lisa and hear her heart for women…for how God made us and how we were made to champion each other in this life!- ChristySupport the show (https://www.patreon.com/christynockels)
Today we will talk about how incredibly vital it is that we protect our souls to be able to receive the life of God in our mundane. Most of us don’t even realize the war that is waged against us as the people of God, and how much of it we are actually allowing to penetrate our minds, hearts and souls! We will look at Psalm 119:81-88, as the Psalmist cries out with all that’s left within him, “God give me life!” Oh, Beloved, how we too need the life of God, for such a time as this!-ChristySupport the show (https://www.patreon.com/christynockels)
In our portion of Psalm 119 today we’ll be reminded that God has called us to walk in His way, together! We must look to God in these days, first and foremost, but the Psalmist reminds us that out of the overflow of walking in the way of the Lord, we can also look to each other and be encouraged to endure! There’s comfort and fellowship even in affliction and adversity and we can spur one another on to keep our hope and our delight in the Word of God! -ChristySupport the show (https://www.patreon.com/christynockels)
