Cynthia Ozick is an author. Her work is often about Jewish American life, as well as politics, history, and literary criticism. In addition, she has written and translated poetry. Ozick's work has appeared in The New Yorker and The Atlantic. Her first book, the novel "Trust," was published in 1966. She has published seven novels, seven story collections, ten essay collections, and two plays.
