Dan Albert is an author and teacher who specializes in the history and culture of technology.
Albert taught in the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan, and he taught maritime studies at the Sea Education Association.
Albert wrote "Silent Victories: The History and Practice of Public Health in Twentieth-Century America," and "City by City: Dispatches from the American Metropolis." He also co-authored "Profiles in Gerontology." His work has appeared in n+1 magazine, Popular Science, and The Journal for the History of the Behavioral Sciences.
Albert received his Ph.D. in history from the University of Michigan.
