Danelle Morton is a freelance journalist and author. She has reported for The New York Times, San Jose Mercury News, and People. She is the host of the podcast "City of the Rails." Morton's work has appeared in The Boston Review, San Francisco Magazine, ESPN, and Columbia Journalism Review. She has collaborated on twenty books. Morton received her B.A. in American History from the University of California Berkeley.
