Dave Wain has for the past six years found himself wading knee-deep in amongst the darkest delicacies of the b-movie landscape.Currently, every spare moment of his waking life is spent penning Schlock & Awe: 1001 Forgotten Films of the 90s Rental Realm, which is due for publication in late 2020.However, when he does break free from the sutry shackles of softcore Shannon Tweed flicks, he likes nothing better than to chat creature features on the monthly podcast, Natural Selection. He's also currently working for 88 Films on a whole host of projects that he's sworn to secrecy over. However, it’s definitely worth checking out his weightly 40+ page booklets for the Collector’s Editions of both Hollow Man 1+2 and the Anaconda Quadrilogy, while you can swoon to his dulcet tones on the Blu-ray commentary for the awesome slasher Terror Train.Meanwhile, he's dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s on a chapter for the forthcoming book, Assault on the System: The Nonconformist Cinema of John Carpenter, which is edited by Troy Howarth, and has been given the full JC seal of approval. If you rewind a little bit, you can snag the excellent book, It Came From the Video Aisle, a doorstop-sized tome that he contributed three chapters for (available at Amazon), while he's also responsible for scribing a variety of material for Scream: The Horror Magazine, Delirium Magazine, Rupert Pupkin Speaks and other places and publications he'd much prefer to forget about…All of the above endeavours are of course undertaken with his writing partner, Matty Budrewicz.
