David Means is an author. He is a part-time member of the English Department at Vassar College. Mean's fiction has appeared in Esquire, The New Yorker, and Harper's. They are frequently set in the Midwest or the Rust Belt, or along the Hudson River in New York. Means received his B.A. from the College of Wooster and his M.F.A. in Poetry from Columbia University.
