David R. K. Adler (born, 1993) is a political economist and Co-General Coordinator of the Progressive International. His work focuses on a new internationalism to restore the balance between the Global North and Global South. Before joining Progressive International, David was part of the foreign policy advisory team for U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders and directed policy for Yanis Varoufakis. Adler was instrumental in Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's visit to Latin America in August 2023, which included meetings in the region’s three largest leftist-ruled democracies: Brazil, Chile and Colombia. Adler has written articles about climate change and politics for the New York Times, The Guardian, and El Diario in Spanish.
