Deanna Gomez has been creating stories in her head since she was a small child. One day someone suggested she put her stories to paper, and the rest is history. Deanna received her B.A. in Communications with an emphasis in journalism and has written freelance for various publications ever since. To further feed her creativity she pursued and earned her M.F.A. in Screenwriting where she connected with her fellow Write or Die Chicks. She currently acts as an Adjunct Professor for the CTVA department at CSUF and as editor-in-chief of the WODC website blog. Deanna’s writing mantra: “Just write, write about everything and anything you want without worrying if it’s good enough. When you believe in your work, so will others. Audiences connect with real stories, we all have those. It’s our job to bring them to life, even if it takes a few drafts.”
